How the receiver works
The handheld transmitter sends the cue. Available responses and the number of receivers you can use depend on the transmitter and its programmed mode. A replacement collar needs a compatible transmitter and the pairing steps for that system.
Charging and pairing
The X-Series manual shows a charging jack under the receiver’s rubber cover. Follow the matching 425X/825X charging instructions, and close the cover after charging. Use the matching procedure in the SportDOG X-Series operating guide. The same guide explains how to match a new receiver to the transmitter and how to set up multiple dogs.
