How the ultrasonic bark collar works
The sound sensor triggers an ultrasonic response when it detects barking. Because the microphone responds to sound, placement and nearby noise matter. Use the operating guide to check how the collar should sit and what to expect during testing.
Battery and fitting checks
This model takes two 3 V lithium CR2032 coin cells. Use the exact orientation and tray instructions in PetSafe’s ultrasonic collar setup guide. PetSafe lists an adjustable strap for necks up to 71 cm. Measure where the collar sits and use the guide for correct placement and wear.
Ultrasonic, audible or standalone?
The PetSafe Audible Bark Collar responds with audible sound. This ultrasonic bark collar emits a higher-frequency tone. The Indoor Bark Control Device and Outdoor Bark Control Device are placed in the environment instead of being worn. Choose according to how the device will be used.
