The PetSafe Pro Dog Trainer PDT10-18039 is a handheld remote and receiver collar system. Its rated range is up to 300 m and it offers tone, vibration and 19 static settings. It comes with one receiver and can control two when a compatible second collar is added.

How the Pro Dog Trainer controls work
The tone button sends an audible cue. The vibration and static control uses level 0 for vibration and levels 1 to 19 for static. Refer to PetSafe’s guide for the controls, fitting and test procedure.
The receiver responds to the handheld remote. The PetSafe Core Dog Trainer has the same 300 m rated maximum with 15 static levels. The PetSafe Basic Dog Trainer is rated to 90 m and has eight static levels. Compare how you intend to use the remote, the collar fit and the need for a second receiver.
Which second collar fits?
PetSafe lists the Pro Trainer Add-A-Dog Collar PAC10-18074 as a second receiver option. Check the model code before buying a spare. A range of 300 m on a different product does not establish compatibility.
Collar fit and supplied equipment
PetSafe specifies a 25–55 cm neck range. Measure where the collar will sit and use the fitting instructions for this model. The manufacturer lists the receiver collar, remote, magnetic charger and quick-start information.
Charging the collar and remote
