Add a dog to a compatible PetSafe wired fence or replace a worn receiver with the Stubborn Dog Extra Receiver Collar (PIG19-10763). It runs on a 9 V alkaline battery and has four static settings plus a tone-and-vibration-only mode.

The PetSafe Stubborn Dog Extra Receiver Collar is an add-on for an existing in-ground fence. Your fence transmitter sends a signal through the boundary wire. The receiver responds as the dog approaches that boundary, according to the mode you select. You need a compatible working transmitter and wire loop to use the collar.

Which fences fit the Stubborn Dog Extra Receiver Collar?
For the PetSafe Stubborn Dog In-Ground Fence PRF-3004WX-20, PetSafe lists PIG19-10763 in its compatibility chart. PetSafe also names the Stubborn Dog receiver as an option for the Basic In-Ground Fence PIG19-16412. Check the code on your transmitter or original kit before ordering a replacement.
The collar works with a wired boundary. For wireless or GPS systems and handheld remote trainers, select a receiver specified for that system.

Modes and replacement battery
There are four adjustable levels of static stimulation and a mode that uses tone and vibration without static stimulation. The receiver uses one 9 V alkaline battery. The Deluxe UltraLight’s RFA-67 battery module is a different battery format.
Fit the strap and contact points using the manufacturer’s instructions. Test the receiver against the installed boundary before putting it on your dog. When adding a second dog, follow the fence’s boundary training steps for that dog.
